There are two services you'll need for a working web site - a domain name plus a hosting plan for it. When you type the domain in your Internet browser, you see the content that’s uploaded inside the web hosting account, but if that Internet domain isn't linked to such an account or to an email service, it's parked. In other words, the domain is registered and you're its owner, but it doesn't have any content of its own. As a substitute, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” webpage from the registrar company, or it may be directed to some other URL of your choice. The advantage of parking a domain is that you can keep it and ensure that nobody else will take it. In the meantime, it's not going to occupy a slot for a hosted Internet domain inside your account. In addition, you can park domains if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domains with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main web site as a way to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Hosting

You'll be able to park as many domain addresses as you want with any of the hosting plans we provide. However, this feature is available just for domain names registered here because the service is always provided only by the registrar. As opposed to most companies, we do not charge anything additional for parking a domain address and the process is going to take only a few mouse clicks in your Hepsia CP. We have a couple of parking templates to select from where you can add custom text. If you choose to host a parked domain in the future, adding it to your account takes simply a click. Everything necessary for the site to start showing up, including setting up a domain folder and creating DNS records will be done automatically by our system. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to see a full list of the domains you have registered through us and you can set a filter to view only the parked or only the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

Our Linux semi-dedicated hosting packages don't have a restriction for the number of domain names you can park. This option is available for domain addresses that are registered with us and not ones that are only hosted, since the service is always provided only by the registrar. Parking any one of your domains is really easy and takes a couple of mouse clicks with the feature-rich Domain Manager software instrument, which you are able to access using your Hepsia hosting CP. You're going to have a variety of parking templates to pick from and you can add custom text to each of them - Under Construction, Parked Domain, For Sale, etcetera. Un-parking a domain address is just as simple and what is more, our system will set up all the needed records and it will create a folder inside the File Manager section automatically, so you'll not need to do anything manually.
